Misool Luxury TripAll-Inclusive Yacht Packages

A Misool luxury trip is sold as an all-inclusive private yacht package from Sorong: Boutique (under 35 m, from USD 6,400 per yacht per night), Signature (35–50 m phinisi) or Flagship (50 m and above, up to USD 35,000 per night), each a seven-night minimum with crew, chef, all meals, dive and snorkel gear and airport transfers included.

Three Misool luxury trip tiers at a glance

Every trip we sell is the whole yacht. The rate is quoted per yacht, per night, never per person, and the 7-night minimum from Sorong applies to all three tiers. What moves the number is the vessel, her capacity and the season, not the itinerary.

Tier Vessel examples Guests Per yacht, per night 7-night total Per guest, per night
Boutique, under 35 m Rascal (30 m, from USD 12,000); smaller boutique phinisi from the entry rate 8–10 from USD 6,400 from USD 44,800 about USD 640 per person per night for ten guests
Signature, 35–50 m phinisi Kayra (38 m), Alila Purnama (46 m), Otium 8–12 USD 7,000–16,500 USD 49,000–115,500 about USD 875–1,650 per person per night
Flagship, 50 m and above Prana by Atzaro (55 m), Lamima (65 m) 14–18 USD 20,000–27,000, up to USD 35,000 on the largest superyachts USD 140,000–189,000 about USD 1,111–1,930 per person per night

To make the entry point concrete: seven nights on a ten-guest phinisi at USD 6,400 per yacht per night is USD 44,800 for the whole yacht, about USD 640 per person per night. The per-guest column is the honest comparison with a shared-cabin liveaboard sold per person. The Misool luxury cost framework runs the same arithmetic for every tier.

What all-inclusive covers, and the five things outside the rate

All-inclusive means the whole yacht and everything needed to run her for your week: captain and crew, a private chef with all meals, snacks and soft drinks, tenders and shore excursions, snorkel sets and standard dive equipment, and transfers between Sorong airport (SOQ) and the yacht. Dive guides and fuel terms are stated per yacht on the quote.

Five items sit outside the rate on every tier. First, the Raja Ampat conservation entry permit, a government fee charged per person; the most consistently reported 2026 figure is IDR 700,000 (about USD 40) per foreign visitor, though some sources list IDR 1,000,000, so the desk confirms the current tariff at booking. Second, flights to Sorong. Third, premium wines and spirits. Fourth, crew gratuities. Fifth, nitrox, courses and specialty dives where offered.

Government VAT of 11% is applied to the charter rate and shown as a separate line on every quote. The permit and fee guide explains how the conservation card is bought and how long it stays valid.

Build your trip: six modules the desk combines

Diving

Boo Windows (5–30 m) gives the twin limestone arches, Magic Mountain (7–40 m) is the manta cleaning station, Fiabacet (8–35 m) is the pinnacle chain with sea fans and pygmy seahorses, and Nudi Rock (5–20 m) is the calm macro site. A diving-led week runs two to four dives a day depending on the yacht, with the vessel repositioning overnight; see Misool luxury diving for the site-by-site plan.

Lagoon and karst

The non-diving heart of the trip is the tender day: Balbulol’s limestone towers, the turquoise bowl of Wayil, also called Love Lagoon, the climb to Harfat Jaya viewpoint and the rock-art cave at Tomolol. Lenmakana jellyfish lake is a surface-snorkel visit only, with no fins, no sunscreen and a local guide, which the crew arranges. The Misool lagoons page maps each stop.

Honeymoon

Couples usually take a Boutique or small Signature yacht and ask for the opposite of a program: late starts, a private beach dinner at Kalig, a sunrise at the viewpoint before anyone else arrives. The desk writes that pace into the charter brief so the captain plans around it. See the honeymoon page.

Family

Family weeks lean on the sheltered, shallow sites: Daram’s hard-coral gardens at 3–18 m, turtle habitat, white-sand stops and the lagoons. Children snorkel from the tender with a guide in the water, and the chef adjusts menus and timings. Yachts with five or more cabins suit three generations; see family yacht charter.

Photography

On the yachts equipped for it, photographers get a camera table, rinse tanks and a dive guide briefed to hold position on the subject rather than the group. The week is sequenced around light: karst at dawn, Magic Mountain on the slack tide, lagoons mid-morning when the water turns to glass. Read underwater photography in Misool.

Wellness

Wellness requests go to the four yachts with the space for it: Scubaspa Zen with her onboard spa, Prana with a spa room, Lamima with a gym and yoga deck, and Otium. A Misool wellness retreat on the water is then a matter of scheduling: morning yoga before the first swim, treatments in the afternoon heat, a quiet anchorage each night. The desk books the therapist or instructor to your dates.

Durations: 7 nights essential, 10 comfortable, 12 complete

Seven nights is the minimum and it is enough for Misool alone. Sorong to Misool is roughly 90–110 nautical miles, a 10–14 hour overnight passage, so the first and last nights are spent underway and five full days remain for the reefs and lagoons.

Ten nights is the comfortable length: the yacht lingers in the south, returns to a favorite site at a different tide and adds Daram or Farondi without cutting anything. Twelve nights is complete, Misool in depth plus the Dampier Strait on the way back, which becomes the Misool and Raja Ampat combination. The blog how many nights for Misool compares the three day by day.

Trip calendar: October to April

The charter season runs October through April. November to March is the most reliable stretch for calm crossings and 25–35 m visibility; January and February are the strongest months all round, with water at 28–30°C. Manta activity at the cleaning stations peaks December to March.

October and April are shoulder months: October is usually improving as the south-east monsoon fades, and late April can turn. May to September is the monsoon, roughest in July and August, and we do not sell Misool charters in that window. The best-time guide breaks the season down month by month.

The Christmas and New Year fortnight is the first to book, and owners may set their own festive terms, which the desk confirms in writing before you commit. The manta season draws divers to January and February, so diving and photography weeks should be reserved earliest.

Combining with Bali or Jakarta, and flights to Sorong

Every trip starts and ends in Sorong. From Jakarta, Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air fly to Sorong in about 6–8 hours depending on routing. From Bali, Garuda Indonesia is scheduled to resume the direct Denpasar to Sorong service on 25 October 2026, operating through March 2027, about 4 hours, departing 08:00 WITA. Makassar connects in about 3 hours 20 minutes.

Depending on arrival time, the desk books a hotel in Sorong the night before departure and a morning transfer to the harbor. A Bali stopover on either side of the charter is a common choice for guests arriving from Europe, the Americas or the Gulf. The how to get to Misool guide sets out every route, and the packing guide covers what the yacht already supplies.

How the desk builds and prices your trip

Send the dates, the number of guests, cabin needs and which modules matter. Within 24 hours the Misool Luxury Charter Desk returns a written proposal: the yacht or two yachts that fit, a night-by-night route, the all-inclusive rate per yacht per night, the 7-night total, the per-guest figure and the five exclusions above. Every number is tied to a named vessel and date. The contact page lists the desk hours and what to send.

Holding the yacht is done in stages. A deposit secures the vessel and dates, and the balance falls due before departure on the schedule written into the charter agreement; the split follows the owner’s terms and is stated before you pay anything. Festive weeks are held for shorter periods, so a prompt reply keeps the dates. The booking process guide walks through each stage.

If a listed yacht is taken, the desk draws on the wider Raja Ampat fleet, including purpose-built dive vessels such as Dewi Nusantara and Amandira, priced on the same per-yacht, per-night basis. For a route-first view of the same product, see Misool luxury cruise; for a non-diving program, see Misool luxury tour.

Misool luxury trip FAQ

What is the best time of year for a luxury trip to Misool?

October through April. November to March is the most reliable for calm seas and 25–35 m visibility, and January and February combine the flattest crossings with peak manta activity. October and April are shoulder months with more weather risk. May to September is the south-east monsoon and we do not operate Misool charters then.

Are yoga, spa and wellness experiences available on Raja Ampat yachts?

Yes, on the yachts built for it. Scubaspa Zen carries an onboard spa, Prana by Atzaro has a spa room, Lamima has a gym and yoga deck, and Otium takes a morning class on deck. The desk books a therapist or instructor to your dates rather than selling a fixed program.

How much does a private luxury yacht charter in Raja Ampat cost?

Private charters are priced per yacht, per night, from USD 6,400 to USD 35,000 depending on the vessel, with a 7-night minimum from Sorong. Seven nights on a ten-guest phinisi at the entry rate is USD 44,800 for the whole yacht, about USD 640 per person per night, with crew, chef, meals and dive equipment included. Conservation fees, flights, premium beverages, gratuities and 11% VAT sit outside the rate.

Can I customize a luxury Misool itinerary?

Yes. Every charter is built from the six modules above, and the route is written night by night to the group’s priorities: more dives, more lagoon days, a celebration dinner on a specific date, a wellness schedule. The only fixed points are the 7-night minimum, departure from Sorong and the October to April season. Changes during the trip are made with the captain, subject to weather and tide.

How do families with children travel safely to Raja Ampat?

Families take a yacht with five or more cabins, fly into Sorong the day before and sail overnight while the children sleep. On the water a guide stays in the water for every snorkel, sheltered sites such as Daram’s 3–18 m coral gardens are chosen, and the desk confirms children’s life jackets with the yacht. The chef adjusts menus to the youngest guest.

Are there new direct flights from Bali to Sorong in 2026?

Garuda Indonesia is scheduled to resume the direct Denpasar to Sorong route on 25 October 2026 and operate it through March 2027, with a published block time of about 4 hours. Carrier and frequency details differ between sources, so the desk confirms the schedule in the airline’s booking system before building your connection, and can route through Jakarta or Makassar instead.

Send your dates and group size, and the Misool Luxury Charter Desk will return a priced, all-inclusive proposal within 24 hours. Message the desk on WhatsApp or email [email protected].
