How to book Misool private yacht charters
There is no booking engine on this site, and that is deliberate. A private charter in Misool is priced per yacht, per night, and the right yacht depends on who is traveling, when, and what they want to do once the anchor drops. One message to the desk replaces that filtering.

Every reply comes in writing. Prices are stated per yacht, per night, with a worked total for the 7-night minimum and a per-person conversion, so the figure on the shortlist is the figure the contract is built on. What to send in your enquiry
You do not need to fill in anything. A short message with the points below is enough for the desk to start work. If some are still open, say so; a date window is as useful as a fixed date at this stage.
- Dates: a fixed departure, or a window such as “second half of February”. Private charters in Raja Ampat run a 7-night minimum from Sorong; longer voyages that combine Misool with the north are common.
- Guests: how many adults and children, and whether couples, families or friends will share cabins. This sets the cabin count and often the yacht.
- Style: diving, lagoons and karst, a honeymoon, a family trip, a photography expedition, or a wellness week. Each shifts the route and the crew we assign.
- Tier: superyacht of 50 m and above, luxury phinisi of 35 to 50 m, boutique phinisi under 35 m, or a shared cabin on a scheduled liveaboard. If you are unsure, skip it and we will propose two tiers side by side.
- Diving: yes or no, the certification level of each diver, and whether anyone needs a course or nitrox. Magic Mountain and Boo Windows are current-swept sites, so this changes the itinerary.

What happens next: shortlist, quote, hold, deposit, final itinerary
The sequence is short and each step produces a document you can forward to the rest of your party. Nothing is committed until the deposit, and nothing is charged before you have seen the full written terms.
Shortlist. Within 24 hours you receive three yachts that fit your dates and group, each with her length, cabin plan, the per-yacht-per-night rate, the worked 7-night total, the per-person equivalent and a clear list of what is inside and outside the rate. If one tier is obviously right for you, the three yachts will all be from that tier; otherwise we mix them so you can see the price step between them.
Quote. Once you choose a yacht, the desk issues a written quote for those exact dates, with the route sketched night by night and the government conservation fee shown separately, since it is paid per person and is not part of the charter rate.
Hold. While you confirm with your group, we can place a dated hold on the yacht. A hold is a courtesy from the owner, not a contract, and it carries an expiry date that we state in writing so there is no ambiguity about when the dates release.
Deposit. The deposit converts the hold into a confirmed booking and fixes the dates. The deposit amount and the balance date are set out in the charter contract before you pay anything. Cancellation terms are part of the same document.
Final itinerary. Before departure you receive the night-by-night plan, the dive or snorkel sites, the crew list, the Sorong airport transfer details and a packing note. The first night is normally the overnight passage from Sorong to Misool, around 90 to 110 nautical miles and 10 to 14 hours underway, so you wake up among the karst islands rather than watching them approach.

Lead times in brief
The Misool season runs October to April, when visibility and sea conditions are most consistent. Within that window, the flagship yachts and the weeks around Christmas and New Year are typically requested earliest. If your dates fall in that band, write to the desk as soon as the trip is being discussed rather than when it is decided; a hold costs nothing and protects the dates while the group makes up its mind.
Outside the holiday weeks there is more room. A boutique phinisi for a couple or a family can often be arranged on shorter notice, and shared cabins on scheduled liveaboard departures are the most flexible of all because the departure is already fixed and you are booking into it rather than creating it. Flights are the other clock. Jakarta to Sorong is a scheduled 6 to 8 hours depending on routing; Makassar to Sorong about 3 hours 20 minutes. Garuda Indonesia is scheduled to resume the direct Bali to Sorong service on 25 October 2026 through March 2027, at about 4 hours, departing 08:00 WITA. Boarding is normally in the early afternoon, so a morning arrival connects to a same-day departure. Documents to prepare, and a privacy note
Three documents cover almost every charter. First, a passport for each guest; the desk needs a copy for the passenger manifest required before departure, and will confirm the validity rule that Indonesian immigration applies on entry. Second, travel insurance that covers diving if you intend to dive and includes medical evacuation, because Misool is a long passage from the nearest hospital. Third, for divers, the certification card and logbook for each diver, since the crew assigns guides and sites by experience and several Misool sites run moderate to strong current.
The Raja Ampat conservation card is a government fee paid per person and sits outside the charter rate. The most consistently reported rate is IDR 700,000, about USD 40, for foreign visitors, valid for 12 months; other 2026 reports cite a higher figure, so treat the published number as provisional and let the desk confirm the current tariff at the time of booking. Should I book a cabin or charter the whole yacht in Misool?
Charter the whole yacht if you are eight or more, want your own route and dates, or are traveling with children. Book a cabin if you are a couple or solo and happy to join a scheduled departure. Can I book a private charter for a family trip to Misool?
Yes. Families are a common private charter group in Misool. Tell the desk the ages of the children and the shortlist will favor yachts with a shaded deck, a shallow lagoon route and sites such as Daram, where hard-coral gardens sit at 3 to 18 m and suit snorkeling. What travel insurance do I need for Misool?
A policy that covers the whole voyage, includes medical evacuation by sea and air, and names diving as a covered activity if you intend to dive. What does a private Misool yacht charter include?
